I started looking in 2005 and registered a couple years later, so I guess I qualify as well. I cannot believe it's been that long. Time absolutely flies. Enjoy every minute while you can.

About 16/17 years for me, but I was only here for the first 1-2 years with my one and only BMW experience (E90 M3) and went on a hiatus and made a surprise return about a week ago when my anxiety was scratching inside me after temporarily getting discipline lessons from the Corvette Forum, lol.

A manual transmission can be set to "comfort", "sport", and "track" modes simply by the technique and speed at which you shift it; it doesn't need "modes", modes are for manumatics that try to behave like a real 3-pedal manual transmission. If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission. "Yeah, but NO ONE puts an automatic trans shift knob on a manual transmission."

I hit 20 years a few months back (March 2005 join date).
At one time you could hover over your screen name and in the lower corner it would display the page URL with your member #. I feel like I was somewhere right around member 100? |
