I absolutely love wagons but I despise weight. This trend to ultra heavy, ultra powerful cars does absolutely nothing for me. I'd still take the Audi because it by far looks the best.

In saying that, say what you will about Porsche but man their Turbo S cars just walk away from competitors, it's ridiculous.

I appreciate the theater, but a nice handling, quick estate that still gets 30mpg was a really nice option I wish we still had.

Hard to do when things need to be so big you're pushing north of 600hp to move a car the weight of an older X5.

I'll keep driving the X5. That's capable of 30mpg, as a diesel anyway.

"Walk away" indeed. 5 car lengths. Impressive. And the best looking of the bunch (that's coming from me - the 911 un-aficionado).

But I have to say, Cammisa's Ultimate Drag Race videos are getting a bit boring.

I just can't imagine driving a 5500-6000 lb car.

My dealer lent me their demo for a couple days, its a very impressive bit of kit, very fast and very very comfortable, but I'll be sticking with ordering another G81 M3T later this year, just suits my daily driving tastes better.

Hard to believe but the M5T weighs about 200kg more than a current G05 LCI X5 M60i TTV8

It's not hard to believe. It's so big I'm surprised it doesn't have a gravitational field.

Technically, size is irrelevant, gravity is the force of attraction between objects with mass. So mass=gravity (viz. F=G(m1xm2)/r²), and there’s plenty of it this those fatties
