Shipping large items like exhausts

I have found an exhaust system from a private seller on Ebay that I want to buy. The problem is it would have to be shipped by some shipping company. I have looked at Shiply and got several offers but I am scared to jump on any because of reports of fraud on that platform. Granted many are legit but I don't feel like taking such risks. They take your money and steal your stuff.

Do you have any suggestions of reliable trucking/ shipping companies that you have used and can recommend?

fedex freight. but as long as shipping can be insured by a reputable company you should be good.

Yeah, Fedex or UPS at least they are known entities. Seller is looking into UPS freight.

Check out Fastenal’s LTL program. Items must be secured to a pallet and can be shipped from one store to another. Has to line up logistically though, currently their East and West zones do not ship to each other.

I was going to suggest the same. I've done it a few times with good results (and price).
