I got a hold of a set of genuine, ZCP E46 M3 wheels. They are in bad shape so I’m going to fully remanufacture them. I’m planning on running them on my narrow bodied, E90 LCI in Titanium Silver. My current set is a set of 6 Style 197 BBS rears. Square fitment 18x8.5+37, I rotate through pairs of two front to back to off. Picture included for reference. When I refinished those, coincidentally I refinished them in the ZCP wheel metallic silver. They came out fantastic but I always regretted not going ferric grey, orbit grey, or even shadow chrome. I felt slightly darker wheels would contrast the lighter Titanium Silver paint nicely.

Now to the question of the ZCP Style 163 wheels. Do I take this opportunity to do something like shadowchrome? I think even ferric grey might look nice on them. Orbit might be too dark.

What are your thoughts? If you know another OEM paint that you think would go well let me know! Looking for something OEM only, for OEM+ purposes.

Also I can’t stand the idea of an M badge on one of my non-Ms. any ideas for what to do in lieu of the M emblem? Can’t really find anything right now. I don’t even know what I would put, just “BMW” in the BMW performance font? “E90” or engine code would be too goofy I think.
