Your granddaughter is born on the 19th of July in the year of our lord 2025. Rory Jean was 6.14 and 18.5”. Already, the little flower child is a handful and doing things her way. Wasn’t due until 27th, but decided to come during a nursing shortage. Mom was in labor at 2 hospitals

Took 10 tries to get the epidural in. Told my son “REAL men don’t need an epidural” 😂

It sounded great and looked so planted in the turns. To think that Ford dealers were selling them or that one could rent one from Hertz boggled the mind...although as a 17 year old I wasn't eligible.

My uncle worked for American Motors at the time. He got me a '68 Javelin SST 290 that could never be mistaken for a performance car but it was great to drive, especially when I put Goodyear Polyglas red line tires on it. One day my uncle said, "would you like to drive a 390 AMX with a Hurst shifter for awhile?" I said, "You bet!". I wasn't much of a racer so I never knew how the AMX would compare to the Z28s and the other performance cars of the time. All I know is it was way faster than I was. You are right, it was a great era for cars.

No. Matter of fact, this is what a very quick search finds:

While it's a common belief that swimming immediately after eating can cause stomach cramps and potentially increase the risk of drowning, there's no strong scientific evidence to support this. Most experts agree that moderate swimming after eating is generally safe and doesn't pose a significant health risk.

Oh yeah. I tear on the skin on the back of my hands, my forearms, lower legs (the bike pedal "bites" through my pants leg) even brushing/bumping dull corners/edges. You don't want to know what brushing/bumping against something sharper does...

And I can't use regular band-aids. The adhesive will pull the skin off if I leave the band-aid on for any length of time.

Keep it out on your bathroom counter somewhere and use it immediately after you get out of the shower. Don't even fully dry off, just use on wet skin. It will seal in the moisture.
