Russell did OK to qualify 6ths, improving on Spring qualifying (13th). But I guess many teams setup for the rain, so those who did not look relatively quicker. Antonelli is absolutely nowhere.

Meanwhile, some Merc engine customer teams (McLaren and Williams) qualified really well. While others Aston Martin are bringing up the rear. The engine must not play that much of a role @Spa.

Writing is on the wall. Lewis got crushed last year by Russell, it is happening again this year. Ferrari should just cut ties after season is over. Start fresh next year with new car. Bearman has shown flashes of speed.

Mekies has just started so give him a chance, and as you say it's only because of the Laren tyre cooling that they are ahead, it's as obvious as the driven snow to everyone and I find it inconsolable that no one has an answer to this.
The RB21 is arguably the second fastest car in MAX's hands so I'm still giving RBR the benefit of the doubt to deliver in the second half of the season as the others apart from papaya seem to have given up and understandably saving budget for '26 as it's totally pointless pumping cash into upgrades that'll fall by the wayside. FIA now are the only fools who are killing the sport, Ben and Rao know how the Laren brake cooling works..

I think Horners time in F1 is done and having to pack to Italy with Ginger and kid and all would be too much of an upheaval. They also have a stable of horses here which would have to be thought about also.

Last night the rain was pouring down , it was unreal...
This morning the SPA F3 race is been red-flagged (!) . It was just too dangerous to race in the pouring rain (!)
At this moment (01:45 PM) the sky is pitch black ,huge black clouds and I can hear the noise of thunder (!)
Wind is picking up and I can see lighting (!)
One thing is for sure , the sunny SPA weather from yesterday is completely gone ..
