We stopped at Korkula for lunch on our way down to Dubrovnik. Wish we had more time there, it was a super nice little island town.

Korčula was our favorite place in Croatia! Followed by Primosen. We swam on the pebble beach in Korčula, ate on the veranda outside the stone wall, and rented a scooter and crossed the island to the small hamlet Rasohatica, driving along winding roads through olive groves. Wonderful!

Glad you had a good time, that's what vacations are supposed to be, not stressful events like my wife plans

The boat ride sounds like fun. I hope to go back to Croatia and Slovenia in the next couple of years, the Dolomites are hopefully on tap for next year.

Sounds like you guys had a great time! I try to go home (Bosnia) every few years and we always carve out a few days to go to Croatia - we go to be beach bums rather than sightseeing.

I'd say Bosnia has much better food, Croatia obviously has the beautiful coastline. Both have the scenic drives once you get out of the city - wish I had my car there to carve up some mountain roads but we always rent a shitbox that can haul people and luggage.

Took my son for the fist time in 2024 along with my mother-in-law (wife has been before). MIL still talks about the region like it's some magical enchanted land to anyone who'd listen.

I salute you guys for exploring the area.
