they had an american version on abc or nbc late last year. I forgot what the name of the show was, but it was something like extreme something. The obstacle was nowhere as intense as the japanese show but it was still fun to watch the people mess up and fall into the water, etc.. I'm not show if it got canceled or if the first season ended. it used play right before the other new show "so i survied a japanese game show" (i think that's the name)

I know...it's pretty funny to watch...the host of that show is hawt!!! dont know her name...
