Adult daughter just left for Comic Con as she's a costumer. When we're in LA we have a fair amount of TOT'ers in the hills but we're in Denver right now in a downtown high-rise so no one to come by. Pre-Covid Denver has a great Zombie-Crawl but not for the past 2 years.

Im in the middle of trying to sell our home, so everything is moved out, but this was the first costume I could grab from storage, so it's this year's outfit (sailor).
I got it free when I worked for a costume shop this one time briefly.
Beside is one of my favorites. Because it gets crazy cold up here during halloween.

Just got back from grocery store. no halloween candy display, just regular candy in the candy aisle. guess i'll go back to the 'ole razorblades in apples

are you old enough to remember the "cyanide pixie sticks" panic of 1973?

Pops wouldn't let us get "wild" candy for years after that even after we all leaned it was the kids dad making an insurance grab.

But even then we all asked if kids parents would really kill their kids for insurance money and he would just smile and say, "ya'll should probably be on your best behavior just in case"

When I was about 5 years old I knocked on the door of some old fart's house on a side street in our neighborhood. He seemed totally unprepared for Halloween, but kindly said, "Wait a minute" and wandered off to his kitchen. Moments later he handed me a big chocolate Hershey Bar.

When I got home I soon discovered it was baker's chocolate.

Not doing a damn thing! No kids come down our street so we are not decorating, not giving out candy and we have nowhere to be! Gonna sit in, watch some movies & have some drinks! Perfect night to IMO

Same here! We hear them down the other side of the road at the end of the street then they disappear.

I'm a "bah, humbug" kind of guy and turn out all the lights and watch a scary movie.

Last year somebody decided to pull a trick on me and broke one of the sprinklers in my front yard on Halloween night.

That's what I get, I guess. lol

Well, none of my kids got arrested so I consider it a good night. I would say I got about 50+ trick-or-treaters.
