These use a purpose built race car chassis, likely a full carbon tub.

It is being built in collaboration with Dallarra. Very respected developer and builder of race cars, they developed and are building the IndyCar chassis.

I suspect the chassis will be mostly Dallarra, engine and system integration mostly BMW M.

Correct, Dallara built the chassis only and BMW modified an older DTM V8 engine for this prototype since the outgoing V8 in the M8 didn't physically fit into the new specs.
