Only had a loaner a couple times in the 30+ years at the same dealer.
Never charged, never knew any dealer would charge. |

I have no experience with the credit card fee as I’m always still under warranty so don’t pay for service. As far as the charging you for not fueling up, when I sign for a loaner, the agreement clearly states that you will be charged $X for not returning with same fuel level. My office is 5 miles from dealer so normally I only drive 10 miles in loaner. I always go to gas station and top it off or put in $10. I imagine a lot of people don’t put many miles on loaners. If they allowed all to skirt on just a few gallons, that adds up.
