you should get one!! they are a great deal these days compared to other cars in this segment. You buy the right one and you will likely make money if you ever have to sale....

Just finished washing the 1er and the e91. I looked back through my records and I'll have owned the 1er for 10yrs on June 13th. It has 140k miles on it now, of which I added 103k. Man I love that little car. I think it still looks good for its age and daily driving life style. It's my fav car I've ever owned.

I've only put ~100 miles on it so far, very smooth, comfortable, the V8 sounds good even with the stock exhaust. I've actually gotten a bunch of compliments on it from random people. But overall it's pretty low key in this color, which I like.

Congrats! Cloudburst Gray right? I like that color on the IS500...low key like you said but really sparkles when it's clean.

Yup, cloudburst gray, with the red interior. This was about the only used IS500 available anywhere within driving distance, so I lucked out there as this was my preferred combo.

My personal opinion: the new IS is the sharpest-looking sedan in the market right now. I can't help but stare at it like a total creep any time I see one. The lines are just so damn perfect....I remember having the same thoughts when the 3rd gen Acura TL was released. Either way, really nice choice, we all know the Lexus will serve you reliably and this particular trim is even extra resistant to 'normal' market depreciation; I myself am looking at IS500s, IS Fs, and GS Fs when I turn in the M550i next year.

My opinion, I wouldn't consider it.

I loved my S5 but the transmission was quirky at slow speeds and that aggravated me so much. Took it to the dealer and they told me that's how it is. It was only the shift from 2nd to first or first to second that was clunky but in stop and go traffic in socal it was just annoying as hell.

Plus for me I'd rather have the V8. The Lexus V8 sound is underrated and it'll run forever.
