I don't agree with everything JV says but he's a realist mostly and I think he's letting off steam at the F1 circus as a whole. He was the perfect gentleman and fair play Williams driver back in his heyday, when he took the title under serious provocation from Irvine, Schumacher and another Ferrari affectionado on the track, so now it's goodbye Mr nice guy and it's his turn to have a few digs.

As we have seen, he has never really been quick without a car that literally anyone who can drive would be a multi-WDC champ in and in reality that person wouldnt have lost to Ros LOL!

I'd like to see Amuro put his money where his mouth is and place a wager his initial statement ($10,000+). My guess is that will never happen. Sorry, but he's closing in on 41 years old and I expect you'll see more drop off in both quali and race pace again. As is said, Father Time is undeafeted.
