Factory M badge on 50e in UK on fenders but not in US. Is that common that they change even those details? I saw a Youtube video that they added the M badge to the US version it seems by mistake.

Yes, I've seen factory ///M on the fenders of M Sport/ M Performance cars in Joe Achilles UK videos. BMW is putting ///M on almost everything these days. I recently saw a 2024 M850i at the dealer with M mirrors, a carbon fiber roof and ///Ms all over (front grille, wheels, steering wheel, etc). If you weren't a Bimmerphile, you'd think it was an M8. Mercedes AMG & Audi RS are doing it too. Marketing dilution. It sells cars I guess.

Gotcha. Yea, all show, no go... I actually like the M badge on the 50e fender and charging door. Kinda wish US would do that. Also noticed the M sport has the M colors in the seat belt strap in UK. Nice little touch.

I totally agree, smart marketing choice to sell more cars. My point was just the M brand and M cars used to be more unique and special compared to the lower tier cars.

Now they've blurred the line a bit and bridged the gap. A wise choice business-wise as it brings in another type of client base. This was inevitable with each model change and it's becoming the norm with many brands, just a little unfortunate.

We all know an appreciate what we have, however the price differential is huge and performance is not fully recognized unless you track it often. Other than the front grill, it's become increasingly difficult to tell some of these cars apart as you could in past model years, that's all...cheers!

Pound for pound, donkeys are a lot stronger than horses. Because of this, they are sadly often used worldwide as cheap working animals and are often pushed to the limits of their endurance. They are also very nimble so may be used as pack animals in areas that other species would have trouble navigating
