Lol, no. If you want to build lean muscle mass you should avoid those foods as much as possible.

I'm probably not really qualified since I'm not a hardcore health and fitness guy like some others around here, though I stay in decent shape. There an entire sub forum for this stuff.

Pasta and most carbs in general are foods you should minimize, if you're trying to lose fat and/or gain lean muscle. Usually chicken breast is a popular staple that checks that box as well as wild salmon. I guess chickpeas is a good one though I don't eat them. Needless to say processed foods and sugar are a NO. I personally try to avoid PUFA oils (primarily seed derived oils) as much as I can though it can be very difficult as most foods, especially junk food contains them.

Regular exercise is another obvious component but you already know that. I'm sure you can find plenty of info over here:

Spaghetti night. Added some beef, onions, and garlic to some vodka sauce. Topped with mozzarella and parsley. First time making spaghetti. Not bad.

Whoops, forgot the pork chops!

My wife just keeps knocking it out the park
Last night was ground beef and cabbage. While browning the meat, dice the cabbage. Then toss it on top just long enough to wilt

Tonight was some kind of beef/potato soup stew thing. Strip steak in pan, dice up taters, then add water and broccoli. Serve over fideo noodles mixed with corn

It’s you-know-what-night

Broccoli and onion pizza with whole wheat crust.

Nice to have some broccoli on the pizza. For whatever reason it hasn’t made it onto a pie in a while.

EVOO, fresh mozz, sauce, lots of herbs, salt, pepper, steamed broccoli florets, onion and fresh grated parm.

Easy and delicious crust:
200g white unbleached all purpose flour
100g whole wheat flour
210g water
20g EVOO
15g powdered nonfat milk
6g salt
1/3 - 1/2 packet yeast, any kind

Combine all ingredients and knead with 100 slap-folds (French folds). Form into a ball. Coat with olive oil, place in bowl and cover with plastic, keep in fridge overnight. To open the crust place dough ball on floured surface and work into a round shape that fits the pizza screen, pan or peel. Season and top to taste.

I bake my pizzas at 550degF for around 25 minutes. Time varies based on toppings weight.
