I used to own a 2005 Mustang GT, and the car had no badges or lettering anywhere that said “Mustang”; however, the base Mustang 6 cylinder had an option for a lower body stripe with the word “Mustang” in large letters. I always wondered if they thought the folks buying the base model were not really car guys/girls and had to remind their friends what car they bought.

When I owned a BMW 323ci all those years ago, I wouldn't have ever thought to placed a ///M badge on it. But the posers these days don't care, and will continue to do so until someone calls them out. Which these days can lead up to someone getting killed. So why even bother, we ///M car owners know the difference. Just keep posting...
