I loved the early books in the series, they were page turners. They started to suck for a while, then got better again. I still don’t get why they cast Tom Cruise in the movies when Reacher was a big ass bruiser and Cruise is a little shit.

That looks really good. There are some here who didn’t care for season 1 but I liked it. Much more aligned with the books than the movies, which I thought sucked.

I'll likely skip this one. Didn't love Season 1. The comedy part just didn't land with me.

Have you read the books? The character has a dry sense of humour. It kind of makes sense more since I started reading them.

I haven't. And I hear you, sounds like they're better aligning this work with the novels, which the movies never did. I get it.

I've said it a few times throughout this thread, so you've likely heard this before: something about comedy being coupled with action movies/series doesn't work for me. A well-timed joke here or there is fine, but anything more than that...not for me.

I am so excited for the new season of Fargo on Nov 21st. I already feel that Fargo is one of the greatest TV shows ever made (excluding season 3, I hated the villain) and John Hamm is also an amazing actor.

We've just finished watching the new Netflix show, All The Light We Cannot See and it is exceptionally good.

Well acted, well filmed and a great story.

I liked it so much I've started to listen to the Audiobook!

Have a watch, you won't regret it.

The first two seasons tie together multiple generations of a police family, including Billy Bob Thornton who was great.

Yes season 3 was the nasty teeth British guy who ruined it for me. Season 4 had Chris Rock. The whole season Chris's mother in law character chipped away at him, but I loved when he finally clapped back at her towards the end.
