I wear similar style protectors (in black) when I ride my motorcycle to protect my clothes from road debris. Nice product.

Some snooty designer is laughing all the way to the bank. Then again, I feel that same way when I see students walking around campus with expensive jeans that are purposely torn to shreds, so what do I know. If you like them, that's all that matters.

Tom Brady wears UGGs (aptly named boots, BTW) because his wife scored him that fat sponsorship contract. And for a while there, Crocs stock was up 900% (or some such ridiculous amount) over the IPO. There again, ugliness pays well.

No resolutions for me. I try to make the best of everyday, acknowledge my faults and strengths then go to bed grateful. Then repeat and make an attempt on surpassing the previous day.
