Why are you so concerned with how other people spend their money? If you are on this forum and have an M5 owned, leased, or financed, you are probably doing something right. No need to peep into the spending habits of others.

Although, it seems that people are willing to provide info willingly, so grab all the data you can I guess.

In my case wife: nothing on a present. We don't buy each other presents. We'd rather spend money on vacations. We just came back from a Cruise, so that's my present. I think it was around $5k?

We do pretty much the same. No real gifts to each other. Just tattoos and vacations for christmas!

I walked into a store about two weeks ago and they had Christmas trees and lights and stuff out already. In MID OCTOBER. WTF. Pretty soon that stuff will be out in July right after the 4th.

It depends every year but we normally both come to an agreed money amount we'd spend on each other. It averages around $300.

Me and my fiancé don't have any spending limits although I always tell her to not get me anything since I'm already usually the one spending thousands throughout the year on my hobbies. Shes the one where shopping at the dollar store and spending 20 bucks feels like hitting the lotto...lol. I'm more of the I like the finer things in life and will spend money on nicer things. For the past few years I have spent a little over 1k on her for xmas with her spending maybe 50 bucks on me. That's ok though because I don't care. I always say if theres something I need or want, I will just buy it. No need to wait to xmas to get it...lol. This year will be the most I will have spent so far because I want to surprise her with a louis Vuitton purse and we all know those don't come cheap...My mother and stepfather are very well off and don't spend a dime on each other while my father and stepmom probably spend a few hundred on each other. Everyone will be different.
