I know this is an appliance thread, but I just want to add for anyone considering a square sink, DON’T! Our house has an under counter double square stainless sink; replacing it could result in new counters or a crazy amount of fitting/cutting. So we’re living with it. I have never had a sink so hard to clean. Those sharp right angles along the bottom four sides and up the edges are great for growing gunk and a PITA to clean. I can see no advantage to this design except style, and that is debatable.

my other advice re. sinks is not to get a double, just get a big fuck off one, SO MUCH EASIER WITH LARGE POTS AND DISHES
