The Prime Minister of Canada has arrived in the UK and is using a G05 X5 for his trip to Downing Street (and I presume Westminster Hall).

The Canadian official car, the Jaguar XJ L, following behind.

It was an incredible state performance and ceremony today, the like of which I've never seen.

The timing, precision and spectacle was amazing, I believe now that it took years to plan and will be the model for future State Funerals.

Given the last one was Winston Churchill’s in 1965 they’ve had plenty of time to prepare.

This was by far the best overall performance of an official but sad event.
I have no idea how heavy the coffin might be and the 8 men had done a hell of a job by carrying it through all the stages of the funeral.
€dit: Meanwhile I'd read that the coffin had a gross weight of between 250 and 320kgs, therefore they had 8 carriers instead of normal just 6.
The leaving piper at the very end had made me goosebumps, title "Sleep, dearie, sleep".

We were in London a few days ago and the outpouring of love for the Queen was incredible. We were able to see the Royal horses doing a practice run. They also had a laying of the flowers in the park next to Buckingham Palace. The amount of flowers, notes and gifts were incredible. Lots of streets shut off to driving which was nice because you were able to walk in areas and just take it in without traffic.
