Anyone following the trial? What a sick, deranged sexual deviant! It seems he started physically abusing her very early on. I know abused women have issues but I don’t get it. Why not walk away? They were together for over 10 years. How did she not ditch the first time he beat her? By no means am I blaming the victim but WTF?

I wouldn't call my sister-in-law abused, but she constantly picks losers, er, "projects." She's been with her latest loser for probably close to 20 years now. He's been living off of her the entire time. He (somehow) bought a new F150 & a used XJ6 and didn't make the payments. He has them holed-up in her garage so the repo man can't get them. He's just the last in a long line of "projects."

Some women are just broken and will take whatever attention/affection they can get. They need validation.

Haven't been following, so I don't know the details. But sadly, I think this is a story almost as old as time...though I do not understand it.

Though it is markedly different, I am following the E.M trial accusing the hockey players with some degree of interest. I'm struggling to believe her. Maybe she's being honest, don't know. I am curious how this (and other cases like it) might impact the average male and relationships, which could have a drag on effect on future population growth, etc.

Might we see a Japanese thing start to happen in North America (albeit if for different reasons)...perhaps. Too early to make any predictions, but I could see societal norms being impacted. Very interesting to observe.

This is already happening IMO, and not just in Japan. Men are checking out in droves.

The things that got me was when he was beating her and she got away, his bodyguards caught her and brought her back to him for more.

Then her next bf’s car happened to blow up.

I’m not sure how easy it would be to leave somebody that rich and powerful when your life and livelihood is so entwined.

Good for her for going onto a seemingly nice life though.

I’d like to hear Jennifer Lopez’s story with him. She sure dropped him like a hot potato after years with the pewpew club incident. Something always seemed sketchy to me about that.
