I just looked at his Instagram and you are right. He has some excellent photos, the racing shots and a lot of the alpine white car are very nicely done and particularly the locations are excellent.
I don't have Instagram or I would follow him also.

I don't have a rig for real rolling shots and I'm still debating if it's worth it, so I faked it:

It's not worth it. You can get similar shots using 2 cars and 3 people and just make a rolling shot.
Certain perspectives are lost but you won't use the Rig all that often. At least I don't.

The shot looks technically fabulous. Problem with Rig shots is sometimes they don't make sense with the context they are in. Your car looks like it's going fast, quickly turning. Either it's coming from off the dock or its heading off the dock.

I make the same mistakes and don't see the effect until later because I'm immersed in the technical part of the shot.

Here is one of mine speeding towards the Delaware River. Same problem with Comp.
