Great TV series - What are you watching now?

I attempted watching the first episode of Sons of Anarchy about two or three years ago. Never made it though. Fast forward, I started again and kind of got sucked in. I feel like it's a train wreck and I can't look away. I just finished season 3. That female ATF agent is a pyscho! I know a lot of you put Sons at the top of your great TV lists. I don't know...We shall see.

It’s a weird show but also got hooked a while back. To me it seemed like there would be a good season followed by a bad season followed by a good season until the last few when it was just bad. But it has been quite a while since we watched it.

It's a good show, not utterly brilliant but really good. The big issue i had with it was how on earth the sheer and utter carnage that will unfold in the latter season just goes... unnoticed. The body count is monumental, there's no way this would just be tolerated by the police or the community.

I do admire it's willingness to go to dark places and not flinch. Trust me, it gets dark.

You make good points, I found the season where they're in Ireland a bit much but persevered. I thought my wife was going to die whenever Tiggy & the Trans played by Walton Goggins were on.

You talking about the Marilyn Manson thing?

I waited a while but finally finished bingeing 1923. Wow, I thought it was really good and bingeworthy.

Also finally into Deadwood this time around. So far so good. Really like how they put rl characters and the town into the story.

1923 had a great cast but felt very non-linear in the story telling. It speedran itself to its end and spent too much time, unnecessarily, on Dalton's... proclivities, which added nothing to the show. Also, I can only see him as Simon Skinner, slasher of prices.

I liked it but agree that the last parts were really rushed, but at least everything was concluded. Yup, enough already about James Bond's S&M fetish (emphasis on the S), we get he's an evil freak lol.

I liked it overall. If they evened out the story across the span of both seasons, it'd have been better.

Yeah, the director clearly has some subconscious fetish being played out on-screen. lol

Great finale to Mobland last night. Really hope they announce Season 2 soon. They left plenty of storylines to pick up.

Watched “Your friends and Neighbours” series on AppleTV. Kinda has that Ozark thing going on with progressively getting into a worser situation and trying to work way out.

Worth a watch.

Wife and I finished it last night (watched the last 3 episodes). We thought it was a very good show. We have been striking out recently on things other people have suggested but happy we found this show on our own and really enjoyed it.

Has anyone started watching "Sticks" on Apple TV? Owen Wilson stars in it. Wife and I started to watch the first episode last night but we both fell asleep 15mins into it. Mind you, this was around 10pm last night. lol

Haha...we are both 41. Was a long day! Plus, I had my golf league last night in the heat and that just wiped me out! Wife was up early for meetings that morning!

We are usually in bed by 9pm every night during the week. Daughter goes to bed around 830pm-9pm and sleeps in until 7am every morning.

We enjoy that time after our daughter goes to bed.

I am still pretty tired. Woke up at 5:30am to get to the office by 6:50am.

We just started watching Department Q on Netflix. Two episodes in. The first episode was a bit clumsy to me and but we decided to try another episode. I'm glad we did. Can't wait for more.
