Post the best photo you've taken of your car

Haven't taken anything of the new car (Mitsubishi Lancer) yet. I've been finding it hard to get attached to it or even name it. Might give it to the wife at the end of the year and get myself something.

But, here's a re-edit of an old photo of the ole' bimmer. I miss it!

I agree. I'm normally very cognizant of background and surroundings when I shoot. I probably shouldn't shoot at all in my driveway but I had just washed it, the sun came out and I couldn't help myself.

Since then, this has become my new personal favorite.

I'd agree with that but would also mention that HDR, if the effects are toned down, can be used to enhance an image (e.g. where the degree of uneven lighting results in a mix of blown out and very underexposed areas).

This is a tone-mapped composite of three images taken with my Nikon D600 and a Tokina 16-28mm lens. It's a bit over-processed for my tastes, but I still kinda like it.

The over-processing compliments the lens distortion look on the car. Altogether I think the effect is way cool. Very nicely done image.

The only change I'd make is to take out the post and wire running across the image.
