My guess is he had a relationship go wrong for whatever reason and used these threads as an outlet. I feel maybe a bit of empathy is in order. If nobody listens to these things, we end up seeing the aftermath in the media. My guess is he's still reading what people are saying and I sincerely hope he finds someone that he can talk to.

You may be right. These things sometimes build up and people just lose it. Or on the other hand, we don't know how some people really feel. Could have been like this the whole time and decided to show his true self.

Unfortunately we cant fix him. Plenty of posters were engaging him in good faith originally and his response was to made crude comments about a service members girlfriend.

Dude would need to uncouple from the like minded individuals (I used to think the internet was going to be a blessing, not a curse) and get some real therapy.
