I would be shopping for a late 70's or early 80's FJ40 or Defender 90.

Feels like this may be the only way to answer the "what would do with 1 million dollars" question....

Fine!

Probably have to get a used one though because I don't think a million will cut it.

If we are gonna assume we won a million dollars, then I'm gonna assume I can walk into a dealership and be able to buy one of these cars.

If there is enough left after taxes then let's go with a Ferrari SF90 Stradale. https://www.ferrari.com/en-US/auto/sf90-stradale

If not, then let's go with:

Porsche 992.2 GT3, https://www.porsche.com/usa/models/9...odels/911-gt3/
Chevrolet C8 Z06, https://www.chevrolet.com/upcoming-v...3-corvette-z06
and last but not least a Ducati Panigale Superleggra V4. https://www.ducati.com/ww/en/bikes/p...uperleggera-v4

In that order.

you can have your Porsche 911s
the most unimaginative choice!

for me—-Simca 1000 Rallye 3

sure it will kill me when it's dinky rear-mounted engine bursts into flames after a Starbucks mom rams into the back of me with her Ford Exploder—-but all part of the fun right?!

I would pay off any and all existing debt, buy a condo and a parking spot, and go buy a G82 M4 non-comp Skyscraper/Fjord in that order. Some mods ofc will go into the M4 so put $15-20k towards that too.

Then $50k cash emergency fund, and rest would get invested

Possibly overpay for a GT3 or GT4 RS since I can’t get an allocation at MSRP.

I would keep what I already have. $1M does not change my position enough to warrant upgrading to anything new. Would invest immediately with the objective of retiring to retire a decade early instead.
