I fully expect this to be another cost-cut-to-shit product.

If this was true I don’t get why bmw wouldn’t be showing this already. What do they gain by keeping it all a secret? If anything I think they lose bc right now all people can see is the crap g60 and as a result they might be jumping ship to another brand where they might have waited

Keep in mind it will have a minimalistic interior because that’s what everyone wants - just an led light show and a center screen.

Hoping the dash doesn’t have a Samsung curve monitor bolted down on the dash with L-brackets. Reminds me of my admins desk. Needs integration of the monitor and buttons to control basic functions. Optional All-leather for body contact surfaces is a must. Optional camera functionality during certain driving conditions. Stopping in forward or reverse or during parking maneuver.

It’s almost certainly going to have the new iDrive 10 inspired by the iX3 Neue Klasse. What would you think if it looked something like this? https://www.bmwblog.com/2023/09/25/d...ision-display/

Wow this does look bigger, again has to been seen in the flesh, but this segment of car (X5)can’t/shouldnt increase in price any more, even with tariffs !
The danger is for BMW, they are increasing prices but reducing quality of interiors, let’s hope they learn in time for this car.
Sat in new five series last week and it was the astonishing how poor quality the switch gear around The central console in the general feel of the car.
Time will tell
Fancy the 60e though!

Yes, thanks. I misread this.
Anyone’s done a rendering of what this potentially looks like?! 👀

Agree and for me it’s all about how BMW makes the interior “luxury”.

As an X7 owner with no need for the 3rd row, I'd like a larger X5 50e. Hopefully the trend of each new generation getting larger happens. Won't please those that like the current size, but will make me look at it closer as a replacement for my X7.

They are a bit confused. They say it is an M60e but say it has a V8 and the title is about the V8 sound. Not sure if the M60e will have quad exhausts or no but would say it is likely they will.

I like those wheels and think BMW has a winner with this next generation x5.

What you saw was clearly a mistake, you don't have to make a big deal about it. The M60e is included in the video and I think that was meant for its part. As shown in the video, the M60e will have quad exhausts like the M60, BMW will offer both versions but not in the same regions. The V8 powered M60 will be made for the USA, Middle East and other regions that get US specced cars. While the hybrid I6 powered M60e will be offered in the EU and also in the regions that get EU specced cars.
