If you think stewards are a variable, then that is the variable the FIA chooses. But they are usually very experienced people that have had a professional racing career (probably on that track they're stewarding) and I'm sure that before they are instated they are (mutually) instructed by FIA people on what is allowable and what not and how the FIA in general and in detail wants to see how the drivers will be racing.
I think that makes them more knowledgeable than 'some guy' on 'some forum' with certainly not a professional racing career and certainly not instructed by the FIA....
Because that is pretty much the comparison you're placing yourself in now....

Anyway they have the mandate and everyone has to respect that. There is always a way for appeal where things can be re-evaluated.
