I'm going out on a limb here and going to say that I suspect you're not the only one who finds the term "crew" a bit of a reach. I suspect your suggestion might not fly too well with the folks in the media or those who designed the flying vibrator. Maybe passengers is a more realist description. Don't point that thing at me.
