OCD psycho dog completely missed this lone plump bambi munching on an exposed clump of grass right off of our back deck late yesterday afternoon:

We love our bluebirds. I don't think I'd ever even seen one in person until we started trying with the feeders a few years ago. Now we have a couple of pairs living in our yard and we see them almost daily.

Bambi was undecided on the grill, but ultimately gave it the green light after a few minutes of observation

Keeping w/ the theme...

Not recent pix. The ones in the night pic freaked me out since I initially only saw several pairs of glowing eyes before I lit them up w/ the flashlight. I had just let my vicious, attack Boston Terriers out in the front and thought there was a bunch of coyotes in the then empty lot next to ours.

I've been reseeding my lawn following racoon damage from last fall. Apparently, my lawn is still has grubs or something else they like. Part of the deal when living adjacent to open space.

I'm putting GrubEx down as soon as the rain stops and the lawn is dry. I also bought an Orbit 62100 motion sensor sprinkler and put it up yesterday. It seemed to keep them away last night.

Ever think of getting a dog? That would keep those pesky varmints out of your yard.

Do you get coyotes where you live? If so, better make it a big dog.

Yes, we get coyotes. We see them once in awhile but we hear them yipping pretty frequently. A small dog would be a constant worry. I know our neighbors are always concerned about that risk with their Scottish Terrier.

I don’t really get critters in our backyard except for the occasional snake. We’re in the suburbs with small hills scattered amongst the urban sprawl. Though my folks in Hawaii have some wild pigs roaming the neighborhood.

Not my yard - saw in neighborhood near fountain while out on my morning walk. Someone has been feeding them because they came running up to me and followed me. Then must have realized they had the wrong guy when I turned around because they turned and ran.

Bunch of future sidewalk shitters. Unless they perish, which most probably will do.
