another free meal courtesy of one of my Valve Suppliers....

took me to J. Alexanders

had some deviled eggs (best I've ever had)
10oz Center Cut Filet with Béarnaise (NICE AND PINK !!!)
baked potato.....

That looks like a perfectly cooked piece of meat. Too bad Austin or Dallas don't have a J.Alexander's.

you wouldn't believe me if I told you, but the last time I was there (probably back in January or February), I pulled my waitress to the side and told her to tell the chef that "his steak was the best steak I've ever had, and that I've been to Trulucks, Vic & Anthony's, Perry's, and pretty much any other premier steakhouse in Houston"...

this is only my 4th time ever at J.Alexanders since I started working on this side of town back in August 2009...

I found that post where I had mentioned the best steak I had ever had - this was a week before Christmas last year...

to this day, J.Alexander's center cut has been the best I've had in the city....
