Nice looking M3, but why are we ruining the rear end by putting two number plates on top of each other?

He's a new member with an amazing garage and showing us a truly rare M3, and that's your question? He may as well get used to this tough crowd sooner rather than later.

Thank you! I'm not new to the M3 crowd, it can almost be as bad as a BAT comment section

You have a beautiful (smaller) custom US-plate and then you hide another plate underneath it, thereby taking the attention away of an otherwise perfect rear-end? Yes, it ended up being my only question. As a European native myself, I never understood it.

E36 M3's never get old. "Ice9" (the blue one) was the source of many years of autocrossing, then Solo I, then drivers schools, then POC, NASA and SCCA road racing. "Little Yellow Jacket," a '96, was my wife's track car, and gaName: ICE9WHTSTICKERS.jpg

I wouldn't do it either. But that's not really the point. It's his car, not ours.

If you said you wouldn't do it, I get that. Do you really think he should take take that European plate off the car just because you don't like it? Not everyone has the same taste.

Wow, what a beautiful E32! Please tell us some more details about it. How long have you had it? Does it still run?

Now that I'm counting I'm realizing I have had it for almost 10 years now. Runs perfectly. I did stock up on parts when they were dirt cheap back then...no regrets there
