I’m back to delayed gratification. Bloody time zones. No social media. No nothing.

Fernando was not happy about this (see photo. It’s the clearest picture of how bad this was). Fernando gets a penalty for momentarily slowing down. Lewis takes 3 cars out and no penalty. Hmmm.

Well it’s not Aston’s weekend at all.

Crazy crazy track. But that sprint race was very entertaining. I like this format a lot. Not great for the drivers but very entertaining for fans.

The Danish cork was Lewis’ karma. That was very fun to watch.

Daniel was just awesome. So happy for him. He needs to keep shaving the beard. When he looks like Mario he goes well.

Until qualifying. I did see his beard had grown back a bit. Also. That track has spurting butter and invisible oil slicks. I swear.

Can’t wait for the race!

Hard to think that hammy got away with that and though he argued the gap was there he just piled in, so yeah the stewards closed their eyes to that one. Stewards failed to take in the fall out with his move causing Lance and Lando to retire and Fernie to nurse a damaged car.
Race is on at 6AM down your way so not too bad.

Well I'm expecting a very good race today if the GOD's of the red flag will stay home (doubtful). The mid pack fight for the last points will be epic if they don't all crash them selves out.
The only painful part will be ESPN prattling on with celebrities who wouldn't know a drag reduction system from a bargeboard on a Formula One car. Martin Brundle's grid walk will be some of the most cringe worth video seen sense last years Miami GP.

If you watch the pre race from any other non US event on the calendar you will notice both a difference in time and content. ESPN pre race from Miami is from 2:30 to 3:55PM, Race on ABC from 3:55 to 6:00PM. if you can endure the pre race you will see the difference.

I suspect my view point has to do with the insufferable nature of American celebrities crowding Miami for a look at me moment.
