I think the only way to fix it is to have a Monaco spec car that is at the minimum thirty percent smaller and use the V6 without the hybrid. Probably could be used at other tracks that are too narrow to pass.

It seems that there’s consensus that it’s harder for them to drive below the limit - the opportunities to suffer a lapse in concentration seems like a common theme vs driving in the zone.

Just got back to karts - that would be awesome.

Or those Lego F1 cars. Each lap a few more bricks are shed.

in other news, Liam Lawson gets first points by being mr nice guy to Hadjar, no pushing and shoving anyone, and when he doesn't complain about other people or blaming other things.

Enjoyed the race, but that Disney + F1 in 26 ad really has me concerned. My eyes locked to that and it put a dark mood over the rest of the race for me. Disney, stay the hell away from my beloved F1 please.

CLC post race interview: I lost the race in qualifying.

Qualifying: Charles was quicker than Norris right up to the last corner, he had a very small rear end twitch going into the last corner and he needed the slightest of countersteer coming out of the last corner and bye bye race win.

but that's how it goes.

meanwhile more Papaya rules now that both drivers are neck and neck in the points race

I think they showed this year that at race start, his reaction time was tied with others for the lowest. He's also a vegan, so that helps with recovery and endurance. I have no doubt that Ham is still fast, but I think he (along with the car he drives) is a lot more peaky than he used to be.

The issue here is that Ham like cars that are low and stiff - he likes oversteer. The issue is that these cars are unpredictable if driven the way he's used to, so he's basically needing to learn to drive all over again, and it says a lot that he's still competitive doing something that's out of his comfort zone.

I think he'll be in the mix for the WDC for sure.
you forgot to blame ricky his race engineer. that guy has managed to destroy Seb, and then he was "helping" Sainz when Sainz decided to be his own race engineer, now Ricky is a meme in itself. I'm not sure why he's still around. Ferrari like to fire people but not him it seems.

It's a story of bu$in€$$ and deep pockets. Spa-Francorchamps - arguably one of the best race circuits with soul in the world and loved by most F1 drivers - lost its spot for F1 seasons 2028 and 2030.

I’d remove the chicane after the tunnel and add a DRS zone as soon as you enter said tunnel to spice things up. Then put the mini chicane near the end of the straight with a TON of safe barriers.

You could also add a rule that cars exiting the tunnel in the lead of the car behind them by less than a second MUST stay to the left until the mini-chicane. If the car behind wants to pass, it must be done on the right.

There are really no good options for this track of course, but I never want to see it go away!
