I'm stranded on a remote Scottish Island with the in laws

There absolutely nothing going on here tonight apart from the locals meeting in the pub.

So, what're you doing this NYE?

Driving to Montreal from Toronto. Hopefully get there around 10pm and then spending it with the inlaws and rest of wife's family.

That's something you can do as a couple... I prefer girls in skimpy dresses and not in winter parkas with hats and gloves.

Plus I am going with a group of friends.

I guess it has its charms. The grass is always greener though, right. Just feels like everybody else will be partying. Seeing hurricane Frank wreak havoc on the sea front here yesterday was spectacular though.

done NY club scene, Colorado, VT, restaurants, parties, dinner, etc...

this year, watching my Clemson boys win in the Orange bowl at the lady's casa and partying up over there......

I've been to Dunoon over there on the west coast of Scotland. Great for pub hopping and the people are friendly but if you don't like snooker, darts and beer you are out of luck for things to do. As for NYE working till midnight then back at 8am for another 8hrs. It's all good though making money.
