Dallas Area Experiencing a 50 degree drop within 12 Hours!

At 1 this afternoon it was 72 degrees. It is now 34 and steadily dropping to 19 by this evening!

TEXAS weather don't Fok around!

I just got back from picking up Wifey at work. The parking lot was like a skating rink. I went to turn up to the corner of the lot where I usually meet her and the car just kept going straight, right towards two big concrete planters that block entry to a paved area where they don't want cars. I got the car stopped just in time. It would have been a slo-mo crash into them at less than 5 MPH, but it still would have hurt. Very nasty roads here in central IL tonight.

Yep, we are a little further south - high was 80 today and low is expected to be 26-29 by morning. And 50mph winds when the thing is due to blow thru.

Dallas here - Was outside with my dog during the first big drop. The wind kicked up and you could feel the temperature fall. I think my dog could feel it more than I could, he got really uncomfortable and wouldn't do his business.

I'm watching NFL network and they are saying today's game in Chicago will be the coldest in their history!!! 5 degrees. I can't even imagine attending any outdoor functions in temps like this.
