Long story short,

Got a fixed ticket for without front license plate three months age.
Tookcare of it and got an offer to signed off then send in the ticket to court by mail.
Got an notice from the court & DMV that my license will be suspended next week because i neglact the ticket and they want me to pay $450 for all the penalty.
Call the court and the clerk told me they did not receiced any thing from me. Awggg!!!

Any advice and what should i do folks??

Did you make a copy of what you sent in ??

What cop signed it off?? Perhaps he/she'll remember and vouch that you did get it signed off.


Also, your sig says "Frisco, Cali". Absolutely no one in this area calls San Francisco "Frisco".

Did you pay anything? Do you have backup of your documentation...cancelled check?

yea i always send shit like this by registered mail because i dont want the governement to tell me that they didnt receive anything. but anyway what you can do now is maybe go to the cop that signed it off and have them write some sort of note for you so you can show it to the DMV

Yeah, that made me double take as well . Either he doesn't live in SF or is a recent transplant. "Frisco" is something us So Cal folks would say when we are talking crap about SF.
