E-Trade, Trade King, Etc Question

when using online sites to buy/sell stocks using e-trade, trade king, etc all we have to do is sign up and start? are there anything else needed like tax forums, annual forms, etc or is it really that simple to just sign up and start?

You need to open an account with them and deposit some money before you can execute any trades. It's no more tedious than opening a bank account. They need your personal information, SSN, etc.

Not a good time to delve in the market if you are noob though ...Be careful!
