Cork Flooring?
My second floor was an attic and now it's conditioned space. I have put down tongue and groove advantage flooring but it's still a bit loud with carpeting. Thinking of just adding a cork membrane floor to absorb the noise.
Any do this before. |

I used SONOpanX for the floor of my music room and SonoX for ceiling and walls.

I've done cork floors before. I'm a big fan, soft under foot and tend to mute the sound a bit.

That said, I looked at a house that just had cork flooring in the basement, I found the look to not be to my taste personally, but it was soft and quiet.
