M40 or M42? Hope it's an M42 they are more robust and have spunk. I forgot ROW got facelifted vert in 90 we did not get it till late 91. I had a Laguna Green over Beige with a black top and optional hardtop. I really liked it it was an M20 car that had worn out encentrics so got cheap.

Thanks. I have just planned minor upgrades with OEM parts e.g. M Technic II steering wheel, installation of the original fog lights under the front bumper and replacement of the aftermarket exhaust tip to OEM. Other than that, I will leave the car in its original condition.

Just the M40. M42 suits the car better of course. Yes, the facelifted vert had a very short livespan in the US with small numbers being sold. Laguna Green over Beige was a popular spec for this car. Absolutely early 90s vibes.

Congrats! I like your plan to keep it essentially stock. Especially if you keep the car phone in there!

Do yourself a favor, get a set of Hella H1 high beam globes (inner lamps) with 100W H1 bulbs and a set of Hella H4 low/high beam globes (outer lamps) with 80/100W H4 bulbs.

A gentleman in his 70s who owned the car since 2015 put it for sale on an online car platform here in Germany. He just put 8.000 mls on the clock during his 10 years of ownership. Last Thursday, I had brought the E30 to my favourite workshop in Bavaria who is specialised in classic BMW, about an hour from Munich and half an hour to the border of Austria. This 300 mls drive with the E30 was fun. My E34 was in the workshop for some repair works and ready for pick-up. So I was able to swap cars and drove back home with my 535i. The drive over the German autobahn was a blast with the fully serviced E34.
I took a few photos in the city centre of Munich and also stopped by the Munich Motor World before heading home.

The silver E34 will be on display at an BMW Classic event at Concours d‘Elegance at Lake Como, Italy end of this month.
