Indoors car covers

Which car covers are you using? Just got my 26 M440i convertible and want to keep it covered in the garage.

Covercraft made the best custom cut ones. I used them for years when I lived in the North East. You need to decide whether indoor/outdoor or both.

I, too, have had good service from Covercraft covers.

washed, ceramic sprayed and parked indoors, and it lasts a day without Oklahoma dust. I can relate. Tanzanite II is a great color but shows every speck. I've thought about just putting a satin bedsheet over it rather than an elasticized cover. easy on and off. Probably cheaper too. (photo from wife's Mercedes delivery.. since traded for a 2025 X4)

Yes, I have always read excellent reviews on Covercraft covers and they are definitely one of the best manufacturers for this type of product.

In the past I have purchased mine from California Car Covers, they make a premium product but they are expensive. I once had an outdoor cover from them which I used on two Mercedes convertibles and it lasted about 17 years which speaks for their quality and was well worth the high price.

No matter who M82mike decides to buy from, I recommend that he purchase a cover that has the side mirror pockets. The pockets help to hold the cover in place and gives the covered vehicle's appearance a nicer aesthetic. 😎

Thank you for your suggestions! Especially about the mirror pockets.

Agree with all above. I use a covercraft 5-layer all climate cover in my garage frequently as my family is not careful about bumping into or brushing against my black car 😕

I used to have a cheap lightweight cover that was nothing more than soft bed sheet material many years ago to keep the dust off.
Does anyone know where I can find a similar product?

You can find flannel or microfiber sheets at Target, Kohl's, Costco, etc., & Amazon.
