Can someone help me with Life insurance???

I have few questions about it and can anyone answer?

Is life insurance a investment? When is best time to buy

I am 30 years old, not married yet?(Early the better)??? What do you look for when you are shopping for Life insurance? What are Do and don't? How much do you pay monthly??

Life insurance is not an investment. Sure there are cash, whole-life policies that gamble on your death, but there are better ways to protect your family. When I was a little younger than you, I purchased a term policy, 30 years. Low premiums and will expire right when I retire. Hopefully, you're already planning for that. I expect to have enough cash when I do retire to cover any last expenses.
