they'll give you your license after a long ass period of time... I think my dad had to wait 6 months way back but he had a nasty record... but they're much stricter now... eakkkkk

Don't how it is in your state, but some states they will cancel the policy and then you get on the high-risk list so that other insurance companies triple your rates. |

Why do people do such stupid things to get a suspended license in the first place? If this happened to you twice then it shows you lack the maturity to safely operate a motor vehicle and the general public is much better off with you riding a bicycle.

Exactly what I was thinking - only if you wind up being her cell-mate make sure you "wrap the package" so you don't get her "medical condition".

Depends on the state, in Maryland driving on a suspended licence carries jail time. It will depend on the judge, your lawyer, the rest of your driving record, and how far apart the two incidents were.

Exactly. I mean a ticket alone is enough to scare the bahjebus out of me. To get suspended not once but twice is just unbelievable. Glad it's him and not me. |

May we ask how you got suspended TWICE? I can be more understanding if they are two different reasons. Like Driving drunk and doubling the speed limit.

Get a lawyer who specializes in traffic violations (assuming you havn't already done that). They can do wonders and take advantage of our already corrupt traffic court houses. You can get off with a LOT LOT LOT less than you think.

Yes, get yourself a good attorney. Its unfortunate, but money does play a big role in the outcome of things like this... not unlike some third world countries... its a shame.
