difference between double solid yellow and double dotted yellow (reflecters)

so was i curious by the difference between double solid yellow lines on the road vs those newer cities where they use double yellow round reflectors on the floor. are they the same in terms or rules since they aren't dashed?

does anyone know more info?

I believe they are the same. The reflectors are raised to give the driver some audible feedback in case he/she falls asleep
