G65 / G95 X5, iX5, X5M

• In production August 2026 - July 2035
• Intro models: X5 40 xDrive for all markets and non-US 40d xDrive
• 12/26: Adds US X5 40, all markets X5 50e xDrive, X5 M60e xDrive, iX5 60 xDrive.
• 04/27: Adds all markets M60 xDrive.
• Other possible models: iX5 50 xDrive, iX5 M70 xDrive
• G65 engines: B57, B58, S68.
• Colors: Alpine White, Black Sapphire, Grey Pine, Vancouver Green, Dravit Grey, Tanzanite Blue (regular and Frozen), Carbon Black, Space Silver (regular and Frozen), Mineral White
• Interior designs: Contemporary: Silverstone II, Black, Copper Brown, Individual with Leather: Adelaide Grey, Vintage Coffee, Smoke White, M Black/Atlas Grey
• The hydrogen fuel cell G65 will be called "iX5 60H xDrive"
• G65/G66/G95/G96 will use two battery sizes: the smaller one for 50x and the larger one for all other models. The cars made in China will have completely different batteries.

Interesting design the way the rear wheel area/arches goes much wider than the glass profile.

Those hips, or tiny greenhouse… not sure which.

Dual exhaust looks tasty.

It’s just like how the G50 3 Series won’t be neue klasse but will look near identical to the neue klasse NA0 3 Series. Neue klasse is an EV-only platform.

They did the same thing with the J01 electric Mini Cooper. The F65 Mini Cooper is basically the same chassis as the F55 but they made it look like the J01. They look the same unless you look for the differences.

Looks like this one has the ugly no spoke steering wheel too? I don’t know why but I can’t get over that.

If it's anything like Coffee Vernasca it's not close to Tartufo at all.

X5 is perhaps the most important model for BMW in North America. Redesigning the golden goose always carries risks - and that's not news to anyone at BMW. Looking forward to sales statistics.

Overall shape and design look very promising, like the rear hips, fenders still look decently flared, quad exhaust. Biggest worries is what that dashboard is going to look like & the front grill

The thread title lists "M60" -- the closest match would be M60e with a 6-cylinder engine - which, I think, would unlikely to be sold with the twin exhaust pipes...

This is probably, as you suggested, the X5M - S68 (maybe with PIH battery)...
