Yeah your train to fail is going to inevitably suffer with that method when it comes to derivative muscle groups. That's one of the only downsides I see to split failure.

Doubles on days I can due to time or desire. Second part at end of day is fine don't have too much trouble as long as it's not ancillary muscle from earlier session. It's still earlier than a month but am going to stick with full split for several months at least. At this point don't expect to gain size no matter what I do unless i juice up.

I gotcha, yeah that would definitely put a hamper on them. I feel as though even power lifters at the higher end can't recover that quickly.

I did some research over the weekend, looks like they don't recommend splits for more than 8-12 weeks, so that sounds like it would work well for it.
