We had one of these a few years later, but I was in to skateboarding at that time, so I said no to the computer and yes to future knee surgeries. I honestly don't know that I ever really got back into computers until the early 2000's.

Quite the contradictions here sir. Young people don't use the word "hip" and the lack of trust in modern gadgets says anything but young. Young people (most of them) only rely on their modern gadgets....for pretty much everything. Wanna play a fun game with some young people? Take their phone and ask them anything, then wait for the reaction. Google, youtube and facebook are their educators, without access to these; they know nothing. Want further proof? Ask them their gender.
