My used it on countless skinned knees and elbows, etc. It stung like heck.

Reminds me of a guy I worked with in the early 80's. We would get paired up for field repair on heavy equipment. He was in his very late sixties, maybe 70. If you smashed a finger he would grab his drill and drill a hole in your fingernail. If he got a cut he would put some battery acid on it, wrap it with electrical tape and go back to work. I learned a lot of good field injury repair tips from him, but stopped short of the battery acid trick!

I worked through a lot of injuries. Sucked it up and kept working. Now days if an employee stubs their toe they go to a worker's comp doctor and need 3 days off to recover.
