I just saw online that there are small modifications on the w13's floor to help bouncing. So I guess it is indeed working. I wonder if they'll run these changes during the race because they said these tests were intended for the free practice sessions. Maybe if the effects are positive they'll run it for the race.

Let's see what they do In FP2 they were getting quick at the end of FP1. Whatever they did is working. Pay attention to the ride height, it did look a bit high the few times I noticed it.

Ferrari can quickly get temp into the tyres, in that heat that could mean they also overheat too quickly and grain. A fine balance to get right.

Loved that Albon lap, great to see him relaxing and doing well. Redbull saw something in him but I suspect he couldn’t change his style to get close enough to Max.

I'm getting sick watching this. I was planning on making Miami my home and was planning to go back after being gone for a year, but real estate/rents have absolutely exploded due to the Convid BS. Not quite sure I'll be going back unless prices abate, it's just too damned expensive.

Some issues with max's car, probably hydraulic and then a rear brake fire.

The mercedes is suspected to be running their designed ride height. I wonder if the new floor modifications allow them to tame porpoising to ferrari levels.

Just watched hamilton's on board, propoising frequency seems to be a bit slower and not as aggressive (lower amplitude). Not sure if I am seeing things or not but that could be a result of reducing the suction peaks.

But like you said it actually stops when he brakes now unlike before.
